Elder statements
At Redeemer Church, part of faithful shepherding is helping the body think biblically about matters that shape our life together as a covenant community. Elders are called to lead, feed, protect, and know the sheep under their care. The statements in this section reflect that responsibility. They are brief, pastoral reflections prepared by our elders to bring clarity, theological grounding, and unified direction where it is needed.
Some of these statements represent our elders' prayerful consensus on matters of pastoral wisdom and practice. Others set forth what we believe to be the clear teaching of Scripture, and as such reflect what we hold as the clear and binding teaching of Scripture for our church family. In either case, they reflect the collective care of our elders for this church.
