Small Groups at Redeemer

15 But speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into him who is the head—Christ. 16 From him the whole body, fitted and knit together by every supporting ligament, promotes the growth of the body for building itself up in love by the proper working of each individual part.

Ephesians 4:15-16

At Redeemer, Small Groups are a practical way to live out the mutual encouragement and care that Scripture calls the local church to practice. These groups of 8–12 people meet bi-weekly to grow together through fellowship, studying God’s Word, accountability, prayer, and serving one another and the community.

We see small groups as a tool for discipleship and hospitality within the congregation. They are not solely support or study groups but are designed to foster maturity and a shared pursuit of Christ through prayer, Scripture, and transparency.

Our vision extends beyond small groups to cultivate a culture of discipleship throughout the church. We encourage members to connect one-on-one and in small groups to help each other grow in Christ. To learn more or get involved, contact us below.

FAQ's

Where do they meet?

Our groups meet biweekly in member's homes during the Spring and Fall.

Who can join?

Our small group ministry is reserved for our covenant members. So, if you're interested in a small group, the first step would be to join the church. We want to lovingly encourage people to move beyond simply “visiting” or “exploring” a church and instead commit to a church family through membership, where they can fully experience the blessings and responsibilities that come with being part of a covenant community. Therefore, although you do not have to have completed the membership process before joining a group, group participation is reserved for members or those in the membership process.

How are they structured?

Small groups typically share a meal and cover the same content. However, unlike formal Bible studies, these groups engage in discussions facilitated by the group leader, fostering learning and growth from each other's perspectives.
