Sunday Service

2022_11_20_9999_138From the moment you step through the doors at Redeemer Church, we want you to encounter the beautiful gospel of Jesus Christ. That's why each section of our services is designed to make much of God’s Word, Christ, and the gospel.

We seek to have the Word of God be central to our worship which means we:

Sing the Word: Through congregational singing (Ephesians 5:19-20)

Hear the Word: Through the public reading of Scripture (1 Timothy 4:13)

Pray the Word: Through corporate prayer (Matthew 6:9-13)

Preach the Word: Through biblical exposition (2 Timothy 4:1-2)

See the Word: Through baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Romans 6:1-4, 1 Corinthians 10:16-17)

What does worship look like?

Sunday mornings begin with a call to worship, which builds into a time of prayer, confession, and pardon. To hear how God speaks into our lives, we turn to his word through the sermon. This is followed by a time of corporate covenant renewal, during which we declare the essentials of our Christian faith and take the Lord's Supper.

We end our services with a response of praise by singing a doloxgy.

These times together serve to remind us that God has graciously redeemed sinners like us and made us to be the family of God. That is why Sunday mornings at Redeemer are, and will always be, about the gospel.

What should I wear?

Our worship services are casual. Some people dress up a bit, while others wear jeans and a T-shirt. We believe that God cares much more about the condition of our hearts than our external appearance. If you join us for a service, please feel free to dress however you feel comfortable.

When does service start?

Our services begin at 10:30 a.m. However, we encourage you to arrive early and stay late to fellowship with our people. We’d love to meet you before service starts!

Where are you located?

Do you have a children's ministry?

During the Main Service, children’s ministry is available for children ages 5 and under. We use a Bible-based curriculum that teaches age-appropriate truths about God and His Son, Jesus.

Helping Parents Raise Kids Who Love Jesus

Redeemer Kids is built around a simple concept:
Jesus is King.

Each Sunday, your child will learn the Bible and how it relates to Jesus in an age-appropriate way. The lessons are fun and approachable and taught by committed volunteers and staff who serve Jesus by serving you and your kids.

At Redeemer, providing a safe environment for children to learn about Jesus is our top priority. All childcare volunteers are church members in good standing who have been screened, interviewed, and trained before being allowed to serve. The majority of the children’s ministry volunteers are parents themselves and they adhere to strict safety policies.

If this is your first time joining us, we recommend that you come ten minutes early to get your children checked in.

If you would rather keep your kids with you for the service, you are more than welcome to do so.

The children’s ministry of Redeemer Church exists to glorify God by:Jarron

  • Supporting, equipping, and encouraging parents who are primarily responsible for the discipleship of their children (Ephesians 6:4)

  • Making the whole counsel of Scripture known to children with special emphasis on the Gospel (Deuteronomy 6:6-9; Romans 1:16-17)

  • Praying for the children and relying on the Holy Spirit to regenerate their hearts through the faithful teaching of His Word (Romans 10:17; Ephesians 2:4-10)

  • Modeling godly living before the children showing them how Christians are called to respond to God, and to interact with each other and with the world around us (Matthew 5:16; 1 Corinthians 11:1)

  • Serving parents by freeing them to fully participate in worship services
    (Hebrews 10:25)

Check-In

You’ll see signage directing you to the Redeemer Kids check-in area when you walk in the door. Or you can ask one of the many volunteers serving that Sunday to direct you.

At the check-in area, you’ll be greeted by a volunteer or staff member who will help you register your children. You’ll be handed a sticker with your name, your child’s name, and what class your child is in.

Security

Security is important to us, so we have volunteer security officers near kids' spaces, and when you drop off and pick up your child, we’ll make sure the numbers on your pager and your child’s sticker match before admitting or dismissing them to or from class.

After admitting your child to class, you can grab a cup of coffee or tea and head into worship.
